The MU-X gets a revised dual-chrome slat design on the front fascia, giving it a muscular and bold look. Besides this, there are no revisions made to the features or dimensions of the SUV. It features bi-LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights and a redesigned rear. The bumpers house the fog lamps along with a chrome bezel to give it a more upmarket look. Moreover, the SUV rides on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The MU-X also has a higher ground clearance of 230mm.
Interior:
The cabin gets sportier Lava Black leather upholstery done in fine quilted leather. The soft-touch plastic and silver inserts make the cabin appear more premium than before. The feature list includes a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a one-touch fold function for second and third-row seats, 60:40 seats with integrated armrests and cupholders, a USB port in the middle console box, cruise control, a six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, and keyless entry.
The SUV has three rows of seats and can accommodate seven passengers.

The 1.9-litre diesel engine on the MU-X is BS6 2-compliant. It also comes with idle start/stop technology as standard and can be had with a five-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The diesel motor generates 161bhp and 360Nm of peak torque.
